AK-47, also known as “AK,” “AK47” or “AK 47,” is a slightly sativa dominant hybrid strain (65% sativa/35% indica) created through crossing the classic Colombian X Mexican X Thai X Afghani strains. This infamous strain is famous for its one-two cerebral effects that will leave you feeling buzzy for hours on end. The high starts almost as soon as you exhale, beginning as a cerebral lift that offers a boost of the spirits and an influx of buzzy euphoria.

AK-47 is a Sativa-dominant hybrid with bright white coloring. Despite its violent name, the strain imparts a very mellow feeling and can even leave one stuck in a state of “couch lock”. It also leads to increased creativity. For the most part, however, AK-47 will leave you feeling uplifted, peaceful and euphoric. Many people enjoy using it while listening to music. Outside of dry mouth and eyes, the strain can also cause users to feel paranoid and sometimes dizzy. You’ll find conversations come easily as your mind flies higher and higher into happiness and your body settles into a state of light relaxation and ease. With these effects and its high 13-20% average THC level and 0-1% CBD level, AK-47 is often chosen to treat those suffering from conditions such as chronic stress or anxiety, depression, chronic pain and headaches or migraines. The aroma is very similar, with an earthy and herbal overtone that’s accented by flowery spices. AK-47 buds have oversized spade-shaped minty green nugs with lots of thick orange hairs and a coating of frosty amber crystal trichomes.

    Got this as a VIP freebie. It’s not my fave out of the prerolls I’ve tried. A bit dry, and I’ve been finding my personal taste leans away from darker green weed in terms of flavour, but it’s personal preference. If you like an earthy, woody, spicy toke, give it a go.

    Smoking the entire pre-roll gives a mild buzz. I wish I had the ak-47 to roll up myself because the joint is a little dry due to time spent after being chopped up weed loses terpenes but still an ok smoke.

    I wanted to give this a shot and finding it on special was a nice surprise . The joint was rolled well, burned right and the buzz was right on the mark. The high was cerebral, light, bright and made the world seem more in focus. Colors seemed brighter, music sounded better and I am sure I was at least 15% more interesting after smoking this. 🙂
    Adding this to my list of stuff I want to smoke on a regular basis.
