Purple Nurple, a.k.a. Mendocino Purps, The Purps, or Nurps, is a highly sought after purple strain out of Mendocino County, California (south of Humboldt County). In the 90’s, clones of the plant were taken to British Columbia, Canada where the strain was stabilized to allow for seed production and distribution. Nurps grows dark green and stout, it turns more and more purple as the plant ripens and makes its way to maturity. The buds turn out dense, dark green-purple in color, and are renowned as some of the best tasting buds in the world.

Purple Nurple’s history is as complex as it’s flavor palate, a strain with its root in California. It is believed to be stem from a select phenotype of Mendocino Purple but has the essence is a blend of skunk, berry, and fresh grapes. Consumers report the effects to be deeply relaxing, sleep inducing, and a great option for full body pain relief.     Personally i am NOT a fan of flowers. I hate the smell and the taste.i’m more of a hash addict or badde or any potent concentrate. Is Purple Nurple an indica or sativa?

Purple Nurple is a $9 gram strain that is considered to be an indica-dominant hybrid, roughly 60% indica and 40% sativa.

Why do they call it Purple Nurple?

Purple Nurple strain got its name from its reputation as having a lot of bite to it when smoked, feeling almost like a pinch to your lungs. This strain is also famously very purple in its appearance with lots of violets and dark bluish hues.

Are purple strains more potent?

There is a common myth that purple strains are more potent than other colored buds. This isn\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\'t necessarily true, as coloration has less to do with potency of cannabinoids and terpenes than it does with cannabis flowers or plant genetics.
